Art inspired by skating

My experience as a skating coach. What I’ve personally learned from the training is that my daily practice as an artist partly aligns with giving skating lessons. Making contact from within yourself seeing what’s possible and building on that. Skating is a way to move forward, and if you listen to your own body, just as I listen to my own motivations as an artist, things naturally fall into place. Of course, there’s always room for improvement, and that’s why I teach skating.

The course provides an opportunity to tap into and utilize your innate talents. Action is more valuable than overthinking, and when you’re in front of such a group, that action comes to the forefront. I also found it valuable to approach a problem in a pragmatic way. We were introduced to this through peer coaching, which is a technique to learn how to give and receive feedback. I found it encouraging and generous of the association to provide me with the opportunity to take the SL 2 course. And I would say to everyone: go for it! Both you and the association will benefit from it.

As you know, I found it difficult to live separately from my beautiful daughter and her father.

Throughout the entire process, contact with her father remained. In the meantime, I had the opportunity to create Marifa. Building something new made me feel good. It distracted me, and I could once again focus more on my hobbies, such as ice skating. I joined a camp and taught children how to skate. Later, I pursued training as an ST3 trainer/coach, which kept me occupied. This allowed me to let go of Tariqa and let her father raise his daughter. This was also a challenge for him as he was familiar with raising sons.
