“Listening to See” is an ingenious work that merges the forms of a shell, an ear, and a mouth into a single symbolic gesture. The artwork explores the idea of equality through communication — sensory communication, true communication. It reflects a continuous process of giving and receiving, where one is invited to listen with all the senses in order to truly see. In this exchange, understanding becomes mutual, and equality emerges through genuine connection.
Look what I found on holiday! 🐚
Holding a shell to my ear,
I hear the waves and sway with them.
Rising, falling,
flowing back into myself.
I feel the joy of being one.
Listening to see!
And then the feeling,
I am alive!
